truth doesn’t make a noise

Have you ever fought so hard to fix something that was broken? So hard that you lose sight of what’s right, what’s real, and what’s important? As humans go, we are flawed, and sometimes we catch wind of things that we want but can’t have. Then we systematically lose control over everything else that we become consumed by the very thought of that thing we shouldn’t be pining over in the first place. But in all honesty there’s a thin line between our basic human flaws and straight up immaturity. Own up to your actions. Make mistakes and then claim them. If you can’t accept the fact that we as people, living, breathing, loving, hurting things can make errors in judgement, you are doing an injustice to yourself. Be honest, accept your bad character traits. They’re interesting! Spicy! They teach lessons, albeit, hard ones, but ultimately lessons that need to be learned. If you make one mistake, don’t do it again. Learning process. If you want to fix your mistakes, don’t lie in order to do so. It only makes a mess that trickles into other people’s spaces, making even bigger messes. You might even make a mess with people you actually love. So just don’t do it. Don’t betray. Don’t betray three times. If you do, it’s going to be really hard to pitch forgiveness of any sort.

I just hope that this recent telenovela has sparked inspiration for appreciation. I sure did learn a lesson myself. I value so much the people who truly care. The ones who really have my best interest at heart. Ones who actually give a shit. Ones who will be honest with me, and tell me if I’m being too self-centered or chaotic. Ones who would tell me how gross the zit is on my face so that I’m completely aware of my horrific flaw and that way I can fix myself and feel ten times better. I love my life, I love my family, and I love my friends. And I’m so happy that I still have a grip on reality and what’s really worth fighting for in life.
